touchONE | Version 7.3.3 released


We have made some great changes with our reservation application touchONE-assist. These changes are reflected in the central administration as well. A few innovations have also affected reservation panels & overview. Let's take a closer look, shall we?


Navigation application touchONE-navigation


New front-end stand-alone application touchONE-navigation for anonymous users.

Usually, the navigation is a part of the touchONE-assist, but this stand-alone app functions as a completely independent app for anonymous users!

The application is ideal for visitors to complex buildings, in which one can be for the very first time. The goal is to guide the given person to the desired location within a short time without any setting or registration.
To get started, just use the pre-sent link or scan the nearest QR code. Both options drop the user right into the app's interface and the navigation can begin! How convenient is that?

Reservation application touchONE-assist


A link to the resource where the meeting is being held can be added to the event body. For the recipient, this is a very convenient way to start and use the navigation effectively.

Anonymous users can use a link to touchONE-navigation, and registered users can use a link to touchONE-assist. Link starts the application and offers a screen for loading the QR code, which defines the user's current location - from there it continues to the desired destination.


This function introduces the ability to navigate to many Point Of Interest categories, e.g. toilets, elevators, exits, parking lots, restaurants, and others. These categories are further defined in the administration.

Based on your current location, the app always finds the nearest representative of the given category (e.g. the nearest elevator) and takes you to it by the shortest possible (optimal) route. All this completely automatically.


Redesigned reservation detail

The completely new reservation detail with selection in 24-hour blocks includes a new Day Calendar View element for setting the time and duration of the reservation.

The position of the planned meeting in the calendar is set much more clearly and intuitively than ever before.


Simplified timeline

We decided to simplify our timeline a bit more.

Now, when viewing the working day, a previously mentioned 24-hour block with a separate date selection is shown and the ability to add a filter for minimum meeting length is also available.

The motivation for these changes was undoubtedly the desire for greater clarity.


Webex settings

The user now has, among other things, the possibility to set his own Webex specifications directly under his touchONE-assist account (section 'Settings' - subsection 'Integrations'). From our interface, you can also log in directly to your Webex profile and connect the applications.

The subsection 'Integrations' allows the user to set default values and other useful parameters for all Webex meetings.


Reservation units


Improved info mode

Info mode has undergone several changes in this new version.

It is now possible to display a QR code for the permanent possibility of reservation, navigation, and seamless usage without the need of jumping out of the info mode view.

You can also newly arrange for an interrupted slideshow to continue where it was canceled, not from the beginning.

Besides, we added the option to activate the info mode only if the given resource is in a free state.

Everything can be adjusted according to specific needs and preferences.


Central administration touchONE-admin


 

Security boost

Due to its importance at this time, security is one of the most important aspects of our development. That is why the touchONE-admin application has improved password management, including password complexity checking.

Newly in touchONE-admin, the account is automatically locked and logged out after a period of inactivity. We want to prevent any threat of misuse or relieve unnecessary stress.


Enhanced floorplan editor

We have also included a brand new floorplan editor. It provides a completely new way of both creating floorplans and displaying them.

The procedure is quite simple - just upload the floorplan drawing directly into the touchONE-assist app (supported formats are SVG, JPG, and PNG) and thus create the basis. The rest of the required data is then applied directly in our software to a separate layer, which will remain intact even if the basis is changed.

For the full functionality of touchONE-assist, it is necessary to enter the defined resources, navigation points and paths, or a scale for the most accurate navigation commands. Whether everything works can be found directly in the editing mode using the navigation simulation.


User groups

For more efficient handling and a faster setting, we have added the possibility of selecting entire groups in the 'Assigned to' resource section.

There is no need to select each authorized user separately, but from now on you can select, for example, the entire Sales Department.


Redesigned menu

Better articulated. More practical. Easier to control.

These definitions clearly characterize the completely new menu in touchONE-admin.

Based on practical experience and extensive conversations, we optimize every little detail - such as these new drop-down groups. Because precisely the fine-tuned details are what make our app unique and so great to use.
